Racket sports involve constant lateral movement and hard stops, which is exactly when a running shoe rolls. Court shoes have a wider, flatter platform and reinforced sidewalls for that reason.
Hard court soles use denser, more abrasion-resistant rubber and often carry a wear guarantee, because hard courts destroy soles.
