Description;

Gemma Triay’s new shoe redefines the concept of design and performance on the court. An innovative model that combines aesthetics, comfort and advanced technology to deliver a superior playing experience.

Its sock-fit construction provides a perfect adaptation to the foot, offering exceptional control, comfort and support in every movement. The lateral tension laces reinforce the fit and improve stability without compromising freedom of movement.

In terms of protection and durability, it incorporates an elegant injected rubber toe reinforcement and strategically placed side seams that increase resistance to flexion and traction while maintaining excellent mobility and flexibility.

The innovative outsole features a triple-control central stabilizer that enhances torsion and both internal and external lateral stability. This system works together with the central LATERAL MOVEMENT channel to improve cushioning and provide a more stable, comfortable and secure stride during the most intense movements.

A shoe created for players seeking the perfect balance between design, fit, stability and professional performance.

Can I play in running shoes?

No, and it is the most common cause of avoidable court injuries. Running shoes are built for forward motion, with soft cushioning and a narrow base. Racket sports involve constant lateral movement and hard stops, which is exactly when a running shoe rolls. Court shoes have a wider, flatter platform and reinforced sidewalls for that reason.

What is the difference between hard court and clay court shoes?

Hard court soles use denser, more abrasion-resistant rubber and often carry a wear guarantee, because hard courts destroy soles. Clay soles use a full herringbone pattern so the tread clears and grips through a slide. All-court is the compromise if you play on both, and it is what most club players want.

Do padel shoes need to be different?

Padel is played on artificial grass dressed with sand, so the outsole needs to bite without clogging. A herringbone or mixed pattern works, which is why clay-court tennis shoes are a common substitute. A smooth hard-court sole will slide when you do not want it to.

How long should court shoes last?

For a player on court twice a week, six to nine months is typical before the outsole and midfoot support go. Cushioning fails before the upper looks worn, so shoes that still look fine can already have stopped protecting you.
