Is there an OXDOG racket made for women?
Yes, and it is a proper part of the range rather than a colourway. The Pure Woman’s Air and Ultimate Woman’s Air are built lighter and easier to bring through the ball. Nothing stops anyone playing with them, so they are worth a look if you want a lighter frame.
Where should I start in the OXDOG range?
The Court models. They are the most forgiving frames OXDOG make and the right choice if you are in your first season or playing social padel. The range climbs from there, and the higher models ask more of you rather than simply being better made.
What do Court, Tour X and Pro mean on an OXDOG racket?
They are the level, and they are the most useful part of the name. Court is the accessible end, Tour X sits in the middle and Pro is the top. Pick the level first and the family second, because it changes far more about how the racket plays.
What is the difference between OXDOG Pure and Ultimate?
They run in parallel rather than one being better than the other. Both start at a Court model and go up to a Pro, with Ultimate the deeper of the two lines. Most people choose on level first, then on which frame feels right in the hand.
Do I need a thermal padel bag?
It matters more than people expect. Padel rackets are foam and carbon, and both react to heat and cold, so a racket left in a car boot overnight does not play the same the next morning. A thermo lining buys you a few hours of protection.
