Thanks to a design specifically engineered for optimal movement on the padel court, the Bela Pro forges new possibilities for padel players seeking pinnacle performance from their shoes. A collaboration between Wilson and the padel legend himself, this shoe features one-of-a-kind design that delivers a wow factor unlike any other in the game. Perhaps most appealing for avid players is the all-new outsole, a construction that features a circular grooving and removes rubber in strategic places to enhance the most important footwork movements in padel: pivoting and rotating. Crafted with a Kaos Chassis for an excellent blend of comfort, agility and stability with a double chassis construction, it's no wonder Bela himself laces up the Bela Pro for the biggest matches on the biggest stages in the sport.

  • Shoe of choice on court for padel legend Fernando Belasteguin
  • Sole designed with optimum grip technology that provides additional flex for optimal pivots and rotations on the padel court
  • Kaos Chassis enhances the natural foot movement via a flexible arch support for superior agility and a lateral support for increased torsional control and overall stability
  • Sensi-feel 2.0 features a minimally layered upper with an engineered mesh for enhanced breathability, feel and comfort
  • DF2 provides cushioned court feel, yielding compromise between comfort and quick performance (DF2 = HT Drop 9 mm)
  • Dura-last consists of a high-density, consummately durable rubber compound that provides abrasion resistance and maximum traction on all surfaces
  • R-DST+ offers the best combination of cushioning and rebound for more dynamic performance
  • Designed for best performance on padel court surface

Can I play in running shoes?

No, and it is the most common cause of avoidable court injuries. Running shoes are built for forward motion, with soft cushioning and a narrow base. Racket sports involve constant lateral movement and hard stops, which is exactly when a running shoe rolls. Court shoes have a wider, flatter platform and reinforced sidewalls for that reason.

What is the difference between hard court and clay court shoes?

Hard court soles use denser, more abrasion-resistant rubber and often carry a wear guarantee, because hard courts destroy soles. Clay soles use a full herringbone pattern so the tread clears and grips through a slide. All-court is the compromise if you play on both, and it is what most club players want.

Do padel shoes need to be different?

Padel is played on artificial grass dressed with sand, so the outsole needs to bite without clogging. A herringbone or mixed pattern works, which is why clay-court tennis shoes are a common substitute. A smooth hard-court sole will slide when you do not want it to.

How long should court shoes last?

For a player on court twice a week, six to nine months is typical before the outsole and midfoot support go. Cushioning fails before the upper looks worn, so shoes that still look fine can already have stopped protecting you.
